Stratego
The Masters of Stratego tournament was held in Aken on 15 January. The winner was Wim Snellerman of the Netherlands, who is currently at number one in the international rating list. Second was current German champion Dieter Krapp.
Krapp was the winner of the Bochumer Open in Germany on 20 November.
The Dutch Championships took place on 6 Novmeber, and were won by Sander Rinzema. Second was Steven Meyer and third was Ronald Kiefenbeld. There were 76 competitors.
