CAMBRIDGE INTERNATIONAL TOURNAMENT RESCHEDULED
The Cambridge International tournament has been rescheduled. Rather than the previously advertised date of March 3/4, the tournament will take place two weeks later on March 17/18. This change was forced upon us because the venue is being refurbished.

3RD ISRAELI NATIONAL OTHELLO CHAMPIONSHIP
The 3rd Israeli National Othello Championship was held
October 14, 2000. A disappointingly small number of people
participated (6, as opposed to 12 last year). Benny Shifman took the title by winning all his games.
View results.
Unfortunately, both Ilya and Pavel cannot come to the
WOC, so the Israeli team for Copenhagen will be:
Benny Shifman
Leonid Shifman
Ayala Naor
(Avi cannot come either, which makes me wonder what
was the point of the whole tournament...)
