Sato takes the lead in the Meijin match

This week in Shukan Shogi the fifth game of the Meijin match between Sato and Maruyama. Again the R8e Yokofudori was played, but Sato does not seem to be bothered by the high white winning percentage in this opening. For the second time he showed that he is perhaps the only one who can control Maruyama in his favourite opening. After a convincing win in game three, he again did not give Maruyama anything and converted a small opening advantage into a winning position.
