The 2000 Lederer Memorial Trophy was
held at the Young Chelsea Bridge Club on 4th-5th November. This prestigious
event, staged each year by the London Metropolitan Bridge Association,
is for invited teams which include most of England's top players and
many stars from elsewhere.
Because of the weather and disruptions
to the railways, two teams, Ireland and the Gold Cup Winners, had
to field last-minute substitute players. Despite this, both did
well in the competition, Ireland leading for much of the event,

year running. Results
