"the League"
and "EBL" mean the European Bridge League; |
| b) |
"Europe" means
the continent of Europe together with those islands (including the
British Isles, Ireland and Iceland) which are regarded as being part
of Europe and also together with such countries outside Europe which
for geographical or other reasons are designated as being within the
ambit of influence of the European Bridge League by the World Bridge
Federation; |
| c) |
"WBF" means
the World Bridge Federation; |
| d) |
"IOC" means
the International Olympic Committee; |
| e) |
"NBO" means
any National Bridge Federation within Europe which is a member of
the League; |
| f) |
"four years"
means the period commencing with that person's election at an Ordinary
General Assembly and expiring upon the election of his successor
(or his re-election) at the Ordinary General Assembly held in the
fourth calendar year thereafter.
