The ECats Scoring Program

The Scoring Program
The Scoring Program is in English, and we think you will find it very easy to use. The instructions are in the Scoring Manual section.
Obtaining a copy of the program

To obtain Version 6.2.0 of the Scoring Program (8.5M download) - Download sims.zip to a folder on your hard disc. Then Unzip it using winzip which will create about 12 files in the same folder. Now double click on the setup.exe that has been created and this will install the program for you. YOU WILL NEED this version for the August event.

Alternatively, email anna@ecats.co.uk and we will send you a copy of the CD - please note that we will only send by ordinary airmail, NOT by courier.

Practice Sessions
We would like you to test the program before the event by scoring one of your normal club nights. You can then upload the results by using session number 9999 which is our test area. When you have uploaded your test results you will be able to see them at http://bridge.ecats.co.uk - follow the link to SIMS and then to the test result area.
Adapting your own Scoring Program
If you have your own scoring program, it is quite possible to adapt it to provide the results in the format that we need in order to be able to score the event across the whole field. You can email wbf@ecats.co.uk for details of the format if you wish to try this, but please make sure that you practice uploading some files well in advance so that we can make quite sure that they will work
