(b 1946)
Secretary to the British Bridge League 1984 - 1999 when the BBL devolved
into its constituent Unions. Works free-lance as a bridge administrator
with a wide breadth of knowledge of the game and its hierarchy.
Has special expertise in organising Simultaneous Pairs events and
with her business partner, Mark Newton, has developed an online scoring
system used for all British events and to be used for the World Wide
Simultaneous Pairs.

Winner English National Womens Teams 1986, but rarely plays bridge now.
IBPA International Bridge Personality of the Year 2000
the first woman ever to win the award.
Main hobbies: reading, writing, cooking (and eating), theatre,
travel, red wine, BIG fireworks, parties and anything else that
seems interesting and fun to do at the time.
Has 2 daughters, 1 granddaughter and 4 cats.
Lives in a railway station - platform 1 is the house, platform 2 is the
office. Has been known to put the answer phone on when weather is hot
and take swim in pool between platforms.
Drives a Chrysler Grand Voyager, which
looks like an FBI surveillance vehicle.
Cheerful and optimistic disposition with
a tendency to eccentricity. Excellent computer skills. Hair normally dark-reddish
but subject to change without notice. Tall, not thin, brown eyes, short
sighted.
Ambitions: to own a large reptile - iguana preferred. To know what
the Nazca Lines and the Pyramids were really for. To have a Pullman railway
carriage as a summer house.
