Greetings to all at MSOWorld and
thank you for the opportunity to communicate with you.
Please feel free to make
statements and express opinions as well as ask questions.
As my personal background has
already been detailed in the preview, perhaps a word about my occupation:
For the past 10 years I have been
the Research Director of the Alphalearning
Institute with the responsibility of developing and manufacturing
"state of the art" brain training equipment.
Our clientele (see client
list) is predominately comprised of senior corporate executives, military
officers and professional athletes. We are honored to be able to communicate
with your group of professional brain athletes.
All of the recommendations I have
seen on previous MSO chat reviews about how to train the brain are correct and
we are in complete agreement.
The difference in our work is that
our clients wanted to achieve the results faster and with scientific
verification.
To accomplish this, it was
necessary to develop EEG equipment to measure precisely each individuals brain
balance and control.
In testing and training over 3,000
people in the past 10 years, we have never seen (prior to our training) a
perfectly balanced left-right brain. Over 20,000 EEGs, which would be over 600
miles long when printed, have proven beyond doubt that all brains can be
improved. Most, quite dramatically!
Dr. S. E. Shaywitz, Yale
University School of Medicine, - "Reading is the pinnacle of what humans
can do, it is the most complex of human functions!" See
more about the world records in speed reading.
We realized as early as 1990 that
to read properly and to both comprehend and remember the information, required
that the left and right brain be working in balanced harmony.
It was also obvious that
information input had to occur at 7 - 9 Hz. While memory had to occur at 3 - 5
Hz. Read more about
brainwave frequencies.
Improving the ability to read
automatically improves the performance of race drivers, shooters, skiers, memory
experts, problem solvers and game players. All need both balance and control to
achieve maximized performance. A balanced brain equals a balanced body.
To achieve these results required
the invention, development and production of Brainwave
I.
Brainwave I is a computerized
device EEG to measure the brain's performance in the 6 major functional
categories; assimilating verbal information, relaxing (meditation), reading,
memorization, recall and decision making.
The second device is a linked
optical-coustical (light and sound) computerized input system to allow the brain
to experience and integrate the correct balance and frequency for each function.
The EEG shows clearly the second
by second changes in the brain achieved by the optical-acoustical training and
verifies the permanent results of the training in follow-up tests.
The equipment required an
investment of over $ 5,000,000 and 2 years of testing before it worked properly.
The training program requires 30
hours for an individual or 40 - 50 hours for a group of 6 - 8 individuals.
The results are permanent, as Synapsia
said in 1994, "Brain surgery with light and sound is now a reality".
Forbes calls it "Nautilus equipment for the brain".
Brain balance and control can be
achieved by hundreds of techniques, most requiring 10 - 30 years of practice.
The only difference with Brainwave I is that the same results are achieved in a
few days.
Our question to the 10,000 -
15,000 participants in the MSO is:
Why, after the technology has been
available for 8 years, are Dominic
O'Brien (World Memory Champion) and Henry Hopking (9th place Speed Reading
Champion) the only participants using a Brainwave I?
I hope the following discussion
will prove to be both provocative and productive.
If there is not enough time to
answer/reply to all questions/comments, please feel free to E-mail
me for a personal answer.
OK, Chris, let's go!!
